Grab Your Coat cuz We'll Be Out All Night

Well I've decided I'm going to end each month with a long rambling blog about my thoughts. Here's the first!

Sometimes, I wonder how people see me. Do you ever do that? I just wonder what people think when they see me walking down the hall. I always like to remember that we're all way more then faces in the yearbook. We all have stories. Sad ones, happy ones, funny one, and really painful ones.

                                                                                   (What do YOU see?)

I want to be the kind of person who tells those kinds of stories. The ones that prove everyday people are interesting. I mean, we can't all be Katniss Everdeen or Harry Potter! But does that mean that our stories and lives aren't worthy of becoming best selling novels and blockbuster films? Some of the best movies are 'based on true stories'. That's why a really awesome project I'm working on it going to go down. I'm interviewing everyday Jonas fans for there stories. I'm really excited about it.

Also, if your from America and reading this, you probably know tonight is Steve Carell's last episode on The Office . I am crying inside, and I probably will be on the outside when it's over. I love that show, and I don't think it will ever be the same without Michael Scott. (His character) People on Facebook are all talking about their favorite Michael Scott memory, and for me that's easy. It's the episode where Toby is leaving, and the gang decides to throw him a goodbye party. Michael hates Toby with a cruel bizarre passion that is completely hilarious. (He gave a him a whole speech called, "Why are you the way you  are!?") Michael gets up and stage and asks the band they booked if they know how to play Goodbye Stranger they nod and start to play. Michael starts to sing what I think is the best song in TV comedy since Adam Sandler's Lunch Lady. He sings, "Goodbye Toby! We won't miss you!"etc. here's the link if you wanna laugh until you cry. (That's what she said.)

I just love to ramble on and on about stuff like this : D Um, the blog tittle is my favorite lyric in my favorite song. Grab Your Coat by Ocean Grove. You should check those guys out cuz they're really awesome. They ate Easter breakfast at my local IHOP this past Sunday.

That's all for now! I'm already super excited for my next monthly ramble!

Oh My Gosh!

So, Happy Easter! I hope your day is blessed with love and chocolate! ;) I just thought I'd share a little bit of my randomness with you today! :D I LOVE Saturday Night Live, and one of my favorite skits is "Surprise Party" It's so funny I die almost every time a see it. Kristin Wiig is a GENIUS if you get the chance, check out her Gilly sketches too if you get a chance! It reminds me of myself when the Jonas Brothers are doing interviews or are mentioned on something. So now when I do see them I always say., "Oh my gosh! Oh MY GOSH!" So, here's the link! :) Enjoy it and have a happy Easter Sunday! (Sorry I couldn't find it on youtube. NBC's website isn't the best for videos. :/)

Letters to Joe J

So, a really great fansite is doing a fabulous project called letters to Joe Jonas where fans email letters for Joe to the girl in charge, and she posts them on the site. After there's enough letters, she's planning on getting Joe to see it and read out letters! :D (She's got connections) So I just thought that was really cool ;) I wrote my letter yesterday and it got posted last night. here's the link if you wanna read it and some other great letters. :) Also, I'll end this blog with the fabulous pictures of Joe Jonas taken in Hawaii earlier this week. Yum... <3

The Help

Alright, so I just read another amazing book, so I thought I'd talk about it.

It's called The Help and it's by Kathryn Stockett. It's a really amazing book about two black maids, and a white girl in 1962 Mississippi. It's really insane just how awful people will treat others because they're different. Whether it's because they're black, gay, or just a little strange it still doesn't make it right. That's the whole moral of the book really.

I loved all three of the characters! Minny was hilarious, sassy, and almost everything she said either made me want to laugh or want to cry. The way she thought of her boss, Miss Ceilia made me crack up. The horrible way her husnad treated her made me want to cry, and the "Terrible Awful" thing she did to Hilly made me want to think twice before eating chocolate pie for the rest of my life!

Aibileen seemed like the kind of person I would love to be with. She cares so much about the kids she tends too, and I loved her. The was she always told Mae Mobley (Yeah, that's  the name of the baby she takes care of) "You is kind. You is smart. You important." Made me want to cry! She was so brave, and so kind.

Then there's Skeeter. She was my favorite character. She was the white girl who decided to write a book about the "help" and their experiences. I really liked her because I could relate to her. I have friends that don't always seem like they're 100% my friends. I want to be a writer. I feel criticized and alone a lot of the time. I see the wrong in other peoples ways that they may not catch. I AM Skeeter Phelan in a lot of ways.

All in all, it was a really great book! I recommend it to anyone and everyone. Make sure you read it before the movie comes out this summer!

Be Yourself

I have a lot of "quirks" I guess you could say. For starters, I love the Jonas Brothers. I get a lot of crap for it, but I've learned to shake it off and say, "This is just me." But what irks me, is when complete STRANGERS think it's okay to criticize me and my "Jonas sisters" I was reading a girl's fan fiction, and some jerk who doesn't even know her started posting hate comment after hate comment. It really got me mad. Who he to judge? Does he know her? Does he know me? No. He just thought it would be funny to call us names as get a rise out if us. Pfft! How is that funny? Being mean to girls you don't even know? It's stupid! Anyway, that just got me going.

I've noticed a Lot of cyber bullying recently, and I really can't believe it. Twitter accounts devoted to hating another user, this idiot on the discussion board, people being mean just to be mean. There's no reason for it! I wrote a song, that I may or may not post on this blog, (it depends on what my folks think about it) called Peace, Love, and Music. It's all about how those three things are all we really need in life. If it were only these three  things, the world would be a much better place.

Anyway if you get anything about of this pointless rant, it's don't be a bully. Don't talk trash on someone just because you can. Everyone has there own quirks. Just remember that one.
